Rob "Beav" Humphreys

Beav originally met AAl online after trying to reconnect with their now famous mutual friend Mark Darin. Beav grew up in the same small town in Maryland that AAl did, but managed to escape it much faster than him. The nickname "Beav" has no real meaning behind it, and was given to him in high school by Mark Darin and some other friends in the habit of giving nicknames at the time.

As an adult, Rob generally goes by the name Rob.

Rob is a big fan of comics of all sorts, and has AAlgar to thank for acting as a catalyst to get him reenergized about comics after his enthusiasm for the format was tested and nearly destroyed by the 1990's. He attended his first real Comic Convention with AAl and the former Mrs AAl, and not long after that started blogging about comics regularly, eventually leading up to his starting a blog specifically for comic book musings and discussion, which he is pretty sure is the only blog on the internet that does that.

Rob can be found at the twitter accounts robisbeav and talkinboutcomx .The former Twitter name has resulted in him being referred to as "Robis" by some - a name that AAl really hopes catches on.
